As you’re making your way around the world of Eorzea, you will need information from outside of the game to be efficient and effective in your travels. We wanted to share some useful Final Fantasy XIV sites for you.

Item/Quest/NPC/etc Databases
Game databases are rather common for MMOs now adays. They provide an easy way to search for almost anything within the game. For example you could search for an item, find out which NPC may sell it and where that NPC is located. Here are 3 FFXIV databases:

• ffxiv.yg.com – YellowGremlin, based on datamining the client.
• ffxiv.zam.com – FFXIV @ ZAM, uses datamined information, but is hand verifying information.
• db.ffxivarchives.com – FFXIVArchives, based on datamining the client.

Wikis
When you want to find elaborate information on a specific topic, wikis are the way to go. They tend to cover much of the same information as databases, but will cover specific topics in greater detail.

Bazaar posting/searching
Due to the lack of search or great organization of FFXIV Market Wards, a few sites have started up places to publish the items you’re selling or seeking. You can also search for what items are people are selling or seeking.

• ffxiv.yg.com/bazaar – tied to their database and provides some nice filtering.
• ffxivpro.com – from the people behind FFXIAH, same layout and feel.
• ffxivorigin.com/marketplace – least used out of the group.
